It was at Camp Talisman where I provided outdoor recreational therapy to children on the Autism Spectrum. Throughout college, I worked as both counselor and program manager at the most magical camp in the world. My experiences there led me to pursue a career serving neurodiverse children and supporting their caretakers.

I completed my Bachelor's in Special Education & Elementary Education from Fontbonne University in 2016. I am lucky to have over 7 years of teaching experience, with 3+ years teaching in an Autism-Structured classroom that incorporated many ABA principles.
Exceptional Communities for Exceptional Children came about when an AK school district reached out for assistance in supporting their Autism structured classroom. Since then, the business has grown and flourished- in a whirlwind! I am lucky to have had the opportunities to provide in service trainings and consult with teachers and individual families to support at-home visual and sensory needs.
I'm currently enrolled in Capella University's Masters of Applied Behavior Analysis program, with a concentration in Autism Spectrum Disorders. I am pursuing national certification in BCBA.
